"Our Gessner Dunkler Bock presents itself in a noble, clear chestnut brown with shiny, ruby-red reflections and an ocher-colored crown of fine-pored foam. Aromas that are reminiscent of the well-known fusion of strong milk chocolate with rum, grape and nuts are immediately noticeable on the nose. The soft but aromatic main drink gently spreads its elegant but clearly warming notes of dark chocolate on the tongue. This is accompanied by the malt body, which is not intrusive but present, and the hop bitterness, which only plays a minor role.
